KidSki is On!

Sunday, March 1, is the last regular KidSki Session.

Level 5 will be classic skiing. Swix Blue should be a safe bet, but, as always, bring along your wax kit and cork, just in case.

Next week will be the KidSki Carnival! We will put up a post later in the week, with a schedule of events. If you are available and willing to help with any aspect of the carnival, please chat with Pete Langr.

Kim Berg Benefit Information

We have information about the benefit for Kim Berg, KidSki’s Coach Coordinator, who lost all her possessions in a house fire last week.

We visited Wells Fargo (where DXC/KidSki holds its account) this past Friday, and they set up a special account to receive funds strictly for the Kim Berg Benefit. All funds will be disbursed to Kim once, at the end of the account’s life (in 90 days).

Cash donations are of course the most flexible and useful. To make a cash donation, please make checks out to: “DXC Kim Berg Benefit” and in the memo line, please write: “Account #3648248353″ and mail to:

DXC Kim Berg Benefit
Wells Fargo
230 W Superior St
Duluth, MN 55802
Also, at the March 1, 2009 KidSki session at Snowflake Nordic (2pm, 4348 Rice Lake Road), we will be collecting clothing in a women’s size small/medium, shoes in a size 7.5, and any smaller household items. Kim doesn’t have storage space for anything large (beds, dressers, etc.). If anyone has a garage stall that would be secure and available for some of these types of larger housewares for the next four to six months, let KidSki board member Bryan French know at the March 1 session of KidSki.

If you have any questions, contact Bryan French at frenchbc@gmail.com.
